Öresundskraft AB
|
Öresundskraft is Sweden's fifths largest energy company, which for more than 100 years has supplied the region with light, power and heat. The energy sale was about 7 TWh in 2005, supplying 240,000 customers with 5 TWh power, 1 TWh natural gas and 1 TWh district heating. The company employs about 380 people, who design, build and operate energy and communication grids. The services provided today include district heating, district cooling, natural gas and communication.
Profit in 2005 amounted to MSEK 179,4, up two percent over the previous year. Revenue increased by 10 percent to MSEK 2,723.

AB Helsingsborghem
|
Helsingborghem is owned by the municipality of Helsingborg and operates about 12,000 dwellings. Together with other local Housing Associations. The company expects to refurbish/build about 600 dwellings every year and is thus the dominant player on housing development in the region. The number of employees is about 120, and the yearly turnover about 60 mio. euro.

Forsyning Helsingør
|
Forsyning Helsingør is the municipal owned district heating company that serves about 25,000 inhabitants and a number of small- and medium-sized industries with 172 GWh heat per year. the company is also the local heating authority energy advisory centre. The number of employees is 11.

Navarra occupies an area of 10,400 km2, has a population of 560,000 inhabitants
and presents an important industrial sector which contributes 33% of the gross added value generated by the region. Navarra is a
successful example of RES deployment. In 1995, Navarra started its current drive in renewable energies and sustainable development
and the results of this materialised in the Energy Plan approved by the government of Navarra in January 1996. As a result of these
energy plans, in 2002 the regional electricity consumption reached 60% supply by RES.

Tudela Municipality
|
Tudela is, in order of population and development, the second city in Navarra,
region from the north of Spain and border with France. The city has, at present, a population of about 30,000 inhabitants, a number
that is always increasing due strong city planning and a high birth-rate.
The activity of Tudela city council (Municipality) is supported by 266 people, 32 of them in the Urban and Environmental Regulation Department. That progress and development has transformed the city from an almost agricultural economy to a predominant industrial region in one decade. This progress has been especially noticeable in the energy sector, with a clear bet for renewable energies.

University of Magdeburg
|
Magdeburg university has established the work group "Social Aspects of Sustainable Energy Production and Consumption" at, the Teaching and Research Unit Environmental Psychology of the Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg. The work group comprises associates of the Institute of Psychology (including students, graduates and professors) who are studying and working with people in their environments, investigating their thinking, feeling and acting. It counts with more than 10 years of experience in the field of renewable energy use and supply and in co-ordination of international projects. It realized numerous field studies with interdisciplinary and intercultural teams.
